Communication with our Maker-prayer
How often do you communicate with those close to you?
Remember communication is not just talking, but listening as well.
Is anybody closer to you than God(Jesus)?
It may be one of the most difficult things for us to do.Especially being faced with the hustles and bustles of everyday life.
BUT remember that in praying lies the key. If you normally want somebody to do something for you or even say something back to you, you communicate to the person(in God's case you pray).
Its the same here. Pray to God everyday and you know what
(1) He is sure to listen
(2) then He is sure to do it
(3) then he will even talk back(respond)
Talk to God like you will normally talk to your earthly father, especially if you want something from him you praise him for what he has done in the past, so that you establish trust in the fact that he won't fail to deliver this time. And sometimes just praise him and you know what he will get a hint that you need him to do something for you. Since he is an All-knowing God you will not even need to say what exactly you want him to do.(your guess is as good as mine). This time he does not only do what needs to be done, wow! he does the unexpected as well.(as we know he does it to break a record and does more to set a new one.) 
Hang on, another tip. Just like we talk to close friends, we do not talk to them about ourselves alone, we talk about others(loved ones and strangers alike). So you know what, talk(pray) to God about others (don't worry this time, it won't be called gossip) too. (intercessory prayer). One thing i should say is that this kind of communication actually works.Just try it and i bet we will be going places. 
This is surely plan A. Don't worry it has been scientifically tested and proven  so you need not doubt it's authenticity. But also whiles talking to God try to erase this word DOUBT. What will you be doubting? Your words or who you are telling it to? Only believe cuz he hasn't failed anybody yet, that is why i said He is above both reasonable and unreasonable experiments.
What can you ask him?-Anything, from pants to pounds. 
How long does he take to respond? To be honest, it differs, sometimes instantly, sometimes days, months, years, and i bet sometimes generations. (When i look at my background i reckon God has done some pretty mind-buggling trasformations, I'm fairly young, happily married,two kids(boy(Kingsley)girl (Christine), what more can i ask for?Except to be thankful. Yes (you got it this time) another tip. Be thankful for what, where, who, how far you are and you will never regret where, what, who and how far he will take you. Normally if somebody does something for you and you show gratitude, the next time he won't warn you before he does something greater, because he knows you will ever be grateful. Same logic, but God is better than that. Show an inch of gratitude and he rewards you with miles of his goodness.
Trust me. Make prayer a habit and see where it takes you. From zero to hero. Not only that, he does not discriminate , only believe in him.
Where and when should you talk to him. -Remember he does not slumber nor sleep. Anytime mate, anytime. Thats the beauty of it. And remember anywhere. (yeah right! even in the loo).
What else should we do? Lets watch our thoughts. They make and unmake us. Think about Godly things and you will soar like an eagle(Strong and powerful).
